Private Residence 2

A substantial new residence with sea views on the western side of the Msasani Peninsula in Dar es Salaam. The building is set into a coral rock cliff face so that the entrance hall at the rear opens out onto a large, raised timber balcony overlooking the sea. Family bedrooms are at the basement level and the Master Bedroom suite is segregated at the upper level with magnificent views out over Msasani Bay. The building includes a separate office block which is connected by a pathway to the main house.

The challenge of this project was to provide a large and secure residence which took maximum advantage of the benefits and possibilities of this prime residential land.
