Mixed-Use Commercial Development

IPA were appointed to undertake designs for a new mixed-use development on Haile Selassie Rd, Dar es Salaam. The project is to include a variety of shops, coffee shops & restaurants at ground floor, as well as complimentary rental space at first-floor. The complex also includes a large nightclub facility.

The developer’s intention is to have a round-the-clock development in the heart of Oyster Bay which can appeal to customers from early morning coffee, through lunch, after work shopping and social drinking, right up to late-night entertainment (clubbing & music concerts). A one-stop shop in the centre of Dar es Salaam’s affluent area.

The whole facility is designed around existing mature trees on the 2-acre site. Providing a lush inward looking shopping centre with spaces moving organically through the development.
