Proposed New Mixed-Use Development, Dodoma, Tanzania

The capital city of Dodoma in Tanzania is growing at a dramatic rate. Virtually all government buildings have now moved to the capital. However, genuinely attractive facilities for visitors as well as people working in the city are still largely unavailable.

IPA have been tasked with designing a new fully mixed facility in the capital, near Government City, which will create a full suite of different building types, all mutually supportive, and which will provide a new magnet development offering all of the different needs required within the city – whether those be workplace, retail, conferencing, hotels or living.

The overall complex is designed to the highest international standards and, once complete, will be the most attractive mixed-use development in the city.
