Exim Tower

A landmark office development in the centre of Dar es Salaam. Consisting of 13 floors of office space above Exim Bank Headquarters. Parking is provided by a basement car park. Main exterior features include 60 m high German engineered stainless steel mesh cladding at front and rear elevations, cantilevered terraces providing outdoor space at each floor level and a cascading water feature at the base of the tower. Also, a suspended (column-less) cantilever structure providing a dramatic focus at the main entrance to the building. Materials are structural glass, stainless steel, polished and rough granite. Associate architects were SPASM Design from India.
