Sadaani River Lodge

Unrealized concept designs for a new river lodge on the banks of the Wami River. A total of 15 self-contained bungalows spread along the edge of the water. Public areas are located at a bend in the river to fully benefit from views in both directions. This section of the Wami River is heavily populated by Hippos and crocodiles, as well as an abundance of birdlife.

The room designs utilize curved shingle roofs to echo the shape of hippos in the water. All structures would be built on stills to reduce impact on the surrounding flora and fauna.
