New Ministerial Headquarters Building

IPA are architects for the proposed new Ministry of Finance Headquarters in Government City, Dodoma. Construction work started in 2021 and is due for completion in 2023.

The building contains not only all departmental offices for the MOF, but also significant conference facilities for use by the ministry as well as potentially other ministries in Government City.

In approaching this design, IPA attempted to come Up with a suitably iconic design for one of the most important ministries in the Tanzanian government. The building has to present a solid & dependable image while at the same time using such an important building to show that modern architecture in government buildings in Tanzania can be exciting and ground- breaking. And particularly to lead the way in the possibilities for architecture in the new Capital City of Dodoma.
